We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations across the North Sumatera region, based in Medan.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our warehousing facilities in North Sumatera. This includes managing daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement to meet and exceed operational targets and client expectations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management within the logistics industry, particularly with telecommunication infrastructure products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regional warehouse strategies and policies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee the daily operations of all warehouse facilities in North Sumatera, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and compliance regulations.
Manage and mentor a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels, especially for telecommunication infrastructure products.
Collaborate with other departments, including transportation, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics solutions.
Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements to enhance warehouse operations and service delivery.
Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of warehouse facilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with national and international regulations, including customs procedures and hazardous materials handling.
Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, key metrics, and operational achievements to senior management.
