Job Description
As a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) for ShopeePay Indonesia, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive people strategies that support growth, productivity, and a high‑performance culture.
You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, leading end‑to‑end HR initiatives across organization design, workforce planning, talent management, performance, engagement, and employee relations, specifically for the ShopeePay business in Indonesia.
- Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies and HR plans.
- Provide data -driven insights and recommendations on org structure, headcount, and capability gaps.
- Partner with regional HR teams to localize group policies and ensure alignment with Indonesia regulations and market context.
- Organization & Workforce Planning
- Lead workforce planning (hiring needs, role design, succession considerations) for ShopeePay Indonesia.
- Support organization design / re -org discussions, including team structure, spans & layers, and role clarity.
- Monitor organization health through data (attrition, mobility, performance distribution, engagement).
- Talent & Performance Management
- Drive the performance management cycle (goal setting, mid -year, year -end) for supported teams, ensuring fairness and calibration.
- Partner with managers on talent reviews, succession planning, and development plans for high -potential employees.
- Identify capability gaps and work with L &D/HR CoEs to design targeted interventions (training, coaching, mentoring).
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Work with leaders to build and sustain an engaged, high‑performance, and inclusive culture within ShopeePay.
- Diagnose engagement issues using surveys, focus groups, and qualitative feedback, and follow through with action plans.
- Support change management initiatives (new processes, systems, organization changes) to drive smooth adoption.
- Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Provide timely advisory to managers on people matters (performance, conduct, conflict, restructuring, exits).
- Manage complex employee relations cases in line with Indonesia labor law and company policies.
- Mitigate people risks by ensuring compliance with local employment regulations and internal governance.
- HR Processes & Projects
- Partner with HR CoEs (Talent Acquisition, C &B, L &D, HR Operations) to ensure seamless delivery of HR processes.
- Lead or support HR projects in areas such as policy review, process improvement, analytics, or digital HR tools.
- Use HR analytics to track key people metrics and inform decisions (e.g., turnover, hiring, productivity, cost).
Requirements
Must -Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Management, or related field.
- 6–9 + years of relevant HR experience, with at least 3 + years as HRBP supporting business functions.
- Proven experience in:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast -paced / tech / fintech / e -commerce environment.
- Handling performance issues, restructuring, and employee relations.
- Running and supporting performance, talent, and engagement cycles.
- Strong business acumen, able to connect people initiatives with business impact.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with data and HR metrics to support decisions.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
