We are looking for a dynamic and results -driven
External Sales Engineer
who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and providing technical sales support. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proven sales performance, and the ability to work independently in the field.


Key Responsibility:



  • Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory

  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing customers

  • Conduct sales visits, meetings, and technical presentations to prospective and existing clients

  • Provide technical advice and solutions to customer inquiries in collaboration with internal teams

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and sales documentation accurately and on time

  • Manage customer communications via face -to -face meetings, phone, email, and other channels

  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management

  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences

  • Support the Sales Director and Operations Director on sales -related matters

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Director


Requirement:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably in valves, automation, or related equipment

  • Strong existing client network within the industrial sector

  • Solid technical understanding with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Self -motivated, target -oriented, and able to work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or CRM systems

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and willing to travel extensively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
    English and Bahasa Indonesia
