Job Overview
We are looking for a Area Sales Supervisor to join our growing team! As an Area Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all our retail stores (Bandung, Medan, Makassar, Karawaci, Depok, Yogyakarta, Malang, Bekasi, and to-be-opened stores). This position requires a combination of leadership, operational, and customer service skills to maintain a high level of service and drive sales within the stores.
Job Role:
- Store Management: Oversee all aspects of our stores' operation, including staff management, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage store staff. Set their performance goals, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Inventory Management: Ensure stores are well-stocked with merchandise, manage inventory levels, and implement inventory control measures to minimize losses.
- Sales and Customer Service: Monitor sales performance, customer service quality, and implement strategies to maximize sales, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
- Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with visual merchandisers to create visually appealing product displays that attract and engage customers.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage store budgets, monitor store performance against financial targets, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Loss Prevention: Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce theft and ensure store security measures are in place and followed.
- Compliance: Ensure stores comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Implement safety and health protocols to create a secure shopping environment.
- Customer Experience: Focus on creating a positive and memorable shopping experience for customers, gather feedback, and address concerns or suggestions to improve service quality.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to higher management on store performance, challenges, and opportunities. Analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve issues as they arise. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance store efficiency.
- Expansion and New Store Openings: Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings and expansions, ensuring that new locations adhere to the brand's standards and operational procedures.
- Supplier and Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product deliveries and quality.
Requirement :
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Min. 10 years of total experience, with min. 5 years experience in leading fashion retail store in several areas is required, with a strong understanding of retail management and fashion retail operations.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Financial acumen for budget management and financial analysis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and safety protocols.
- A passion for the fashion industry and a keen eye for trends and customer preferences.
