An established manufacturing business is seeking to appoint a new Head of HR & GA. Reporting into the local President Director, and based in the Bogor area of Greater Jakarta, you would oversee all Human Resources and General Affairs maters at their manufacturing site
About the Head of HR & GA role:
- Lead and manage all HR activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations
- Support the implementation and rollout of a new HR system, ensuring adoption and alignment with business needs
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational culture, engagement, and employee discipline within a manufacturing environment
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR policies, labor matters, and people -related risks
- Oversee General Affairs activities, including facilities, security, and external vendor management
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and regulations
The successful candidate will have a minimum 15 years of progressive HR & GA experience, and prior experience within a manufacturing environment
Skills and experience needed:
- Prior experience with a manufacturing company is essential
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, compliance, and industrial relations
- Hands -on experience implementing or improving HR systems and processes
- Proven ability to lead small teams and work closely with operational stakeholders
- Pragmatic, grounded, and comfortable operating in a site -based manufacturing setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
