One of Bali’s premium, ethical, organic, and handcrafted brands dedicated to sustainable agriculture and the highest standards of organic farming is searching for a Head of Sales to join their team immediately.


The ideal candidate should build a sales function from the ground up, focusing on developing and implementing strategies, SOPs, tools, and processes tailored to premium wellness and beauty brands. Your goal is to establish a scalable, efficient sales organisation, drive revenue growth, and strengthen presence in consignment, wholesale, and strategic retail partnerships. This role requires a visionary yet pragmatic leader who can design and manage every aspect of the sales journey while collaborating closely with the CEO on high\-level strategy.


Requirements:

  • Minimum ten years in senior sales leadership roles, with a strong focus on building and structuring sales teams.

  • Extensive experience in consignment, wholesale, or premium FMCG sectors.

  • Deep understanding of consignment and wholesale channels, including the ability to establish partnerships with high\-profile retail chains.

  • Advanced proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics, with a data\-driven approach to strategy and decision\-making.

  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage SOPs, sales processes, and enablement tools from the ground up.

  • Visionary and strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Adept at setting up and scaling sales functions independently.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and lead the execution of a sales strategy focusing on short\- and long\-term growth, targeting consignment, wholesale, boutique stores, high\-end pharmacies, and large retail partnerships.

  • Analyse market conditions and consumer trends to identify new opportunities, leveraging data and insights to adjust and refine the strategy.

  • Establish a differentiated positioning within the premium wellness market, collaborating with marketing to ensure a cohesive brand message.

  • Define the optimal team structure, recruiting regional sales managers and support staff, initially in Bali and Jakarta, and eventually in other high\-potential regions.

  • Design role\-specific expectations, KPIs, and incentives aligned with goals, creating a growth\-oriented team culture.

  • Build and document every SOP essential for a smooth sales operation.

  • Standardise processes for acquiring and managing accounts, including client onboarding, order tracking, and relationship nurturing.

  • Define the criteria for identifying and qualifying leads, establishing a consistent approach to prospecting and outreach.

  • Create a clear roadmap for the entire sales cycle, from lead nurturing to closing, ensuring each team member follows consistent steps.

  • Develop a pricing model and discount structure for consignment and wholesale, with criteria for volume\-based pricing adjustments.

  • Standardise weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting formats, including KPIs, forecasting methods, and performance dashboards.

  • Select, implement, and manage a CRM system that tracks leads, sales activities, performance metrics, and client interactions.

  • Train the sales team on CRM usage, ensuring consistent documentation of interactions, opportunities, and follow\-ups.

  • Define KPIs that align with objectives, such as conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, customer retention, and regional growth targets.

  • Implement performance tracking methods and dashboards, making it easy to analyse sales data and identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.

  • Conduct quarterly and annual sales reviews, using data insights to make informed adjustments to strategies and goals.

  • Personally manage high\-profile accounts, including national drugstores, luxury retailers, and major consignment accounts, building strong relationships to ensure retention and growth.

  • Develop a strategic partnership model to secure exclusive retail and consignment agreements with selected partners, positioning the brand as their premium wellness brand of choice.

  • Establish a client feedback loop, gathering insights directly from accounts to refine products, address issues, and strengthen relationships.

  • Identify and implement sales tools that enhance productivity and effectiveness, such as proposal management software, analytics platforms, and mobile\-friendly solutions for field reps.

  • Create a repository of sales resources, including pitch decks, product information, objection\-handling guides, and competitor insights.

  • Develop ongoing training sessions focused on new sales techniques, industry trends, and updated product knowledge to keep the team motivated and knowledgeable.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop aligned campaigns, shared goals, and joint KPIs that maximise sales impact.

  • Provide regular feedback to the product team on customer preferences, market gaps, and product performance, helping to shape product development.

  • Collaborate on targeted promotions and sampling events, ensuring they align with sales objectives and brand positioning.

  • Establish risk management protocols within sales processes, including credit risk assessment, contract review, and compliance with local retail regulations.

  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with ethical standards, legal requirements, and brand values, especially in high\-volume retail partnerships.

  • Act as the primary thought partner to the CEO on all sales\-related decisions, offering insights, trend analysis, and forecasts to support high\-level strategy.

  • Foster a proactive, adaptable mindset within the sales team, encouraging innovation and responsiveness to evolving market needs.
