Lembaga Manajemen Infaq (LMI) is a professional philanthropic institution from Indonesia that is aims to raise the dignity of the poor (underprivileged communities) through the collecting social funds (zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and waqf) and also corporate social responsibility funds. LMI was founded in 1995, based in the Surabaya City. In 2005, LMI was legalized as a provincial amil zakat institution, with the Decree of the Governor of East Java Number: 451/1702/032/2005. A decade later, LMI was confirmed as national amil zakat institution, according to Decree of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Number 184 year 2016. LMI won the Baznas Award 2017 in the National amil zakat institution category with the Best Distribution and Utilization. Internationally, LMI also contributes by becoming a member of the Indonesia Humanitarian Alliance (IHA).
